  • BOYUNDURUK APLİĞİ
    Chariot and ridge band Set

Urartu combat equipment is another rich collection of metal work. The bronze components of the chariots depicted on the bronze works and the harnesses of the horses that attracted these cars are included in many museum collections today. However, most of these artifacts enter into museums and private collections as a result of illicit diggings.

The fan-shaped appliqués, breastplates, horse-glasses, pediments, rattles and other multi-piece decorative pieces on the horse's yoke are cuneiform. There are scenes of war and depictions of lions and god on them.
